Snowboard instruction and safety information?

Other snowboarding stuff?

Please note. This list is deliberately short. Lots of people are into snowboarding now and lots of people have websites about it. Keeping a list of all the great sites would be a nightmare. Links break, sites close, people change perspective.

The links here represent a starting point for you to look at, but don't limit your scope.

Of course, no list of snowboarding resources could be complete without a link to the newsgroup. If you don't know what a newsgroup is, then you're missing out.

Newsgroups have been around since way before the World Wide Web. Groups contain articles or messages, which are sort of like email, in that the messages are text based (or should be), but you send your message to a server, which in turn sends it to other servers, and after a while it goes all around the world. People can read the messages using a news reader like Outlook, Agent, Xnews, Mozilla etc. And because it's text based it's fast. And because you use the news reader of your choice, you get the interface you like. There are newsgroups on just about every subject you could think of. Contact your ISP for details of their newsgroup (usenet) server.
